Evening Cleaning Routine After Work Clean With Kate

Welcome back to Clean With Kate. In today’s video I’m sharing a quick 15 minute evening cleaning routine after work in my barn kitchen. After a busy day, I like to do a simple reset to make the house feel calm and tidy before the evening. In this video I vacuum the kitchen floor, do a little dusting, wipe down the table and have a quick tidy up. As we are in FlyLady Zone 2 this week – the kitchen, I’m also doing a little bit of detailed cleaning alongside my usual evening tidy. The FlyLady system focuses on one area of the home each week, which helps break bigger cleaning jobs into small, manageable tasks. While I’m in the kitchen I like to take a few extra moments to dust surfaces, wipe down areas that often get missed, and give the room a quick refresh so everything stays under control without needing a big deep clean later. You’ll also get a little peek into what Mike is cooking for dinner tonight while I’m tidying up in the kitchen. It’s always nice having something delicious on the go while I’m doing my evening reset, and it’s part of the real everyday rhythm of our home. 🍽️ It’s nothing fancy – just a realistic end of day tidy that helps keep on top of the house without feeling overwhelmed.
