I decided to use heart sequins in the resin, but they sadly bled colour and changed the final look of the tray. I’m still sharing the full process though — because resin doesn’t always go perfectly, and sometimes the best lessons come from the mistakes. If you’re new to resin or thinking about trying epoxy resin projects at home, this video shows what can go wrong, what I’d do differently next time, and why testing materials first is so important. I would definitely do a test piece using foil shapes just in case they are not compatible.
