Quickly however, you'll find that this can cause you to kick up silt, and has other issues as well for maneuverability. As divers learn more finning techniques, they may notice more experiences scuba divers doing what's known as the frog kick. Frog kicking benefits you by allowing you to keep your feet up and away from kicking sediment up, helps direct the flow of water as you kick away from the bottom instead of downward, helps you move more efficiently to save on air consumption, and allows you to easily perform other maneuvers like helicopter turns and work on back finning/kicking as well.
