We faced brutal wind over tide conditions that had our Quicksilver 555 boat slamming and going airborne in the big waves. A day later, what started as dizziness quickly escalated into severe vertigo, nausea, and an inability to stand. After a call to NHS 111 and a trip to the hospital in an ambulance, Sonia was diagnosed with BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). We believe the rough jolting on the boat dislodged the inner ear crystals, causing this scary health issue. Join us as we explain the whole story, from the boat trip to the diagnosis and recovery.
