This hooded merino sunshirt is one of my favorite ‘multi-use’ pieces. I’ll wear it like a thin sweatshirt over a tee, but it can also become an emergency extra shirt if everything else is sweaty and I haven’t washed in a while. That kind of flexibility is exactly what makes backpack-only travel work.
