About This Video

In this video, I share the three essentials I wish every Mighty Networks host knew—because a lot of hosts don’t even realize these are the questions they should be asking. First, I walk through the difference between how members navigate your network on a computer browser versus inside the Mighty Networks phone app. As a host, you’re probably building and managing from your laptop where the left navigation is always visible. But most members are on mobile, where that navigation isn’t always in their face—so if your structure depends on people constantly opening the menu, engagement gets harder. Next, I show you a simple way to test the member experience (including purchases and access) without creating a bunch of new email accounts. My go-to method is using an email alias with a plus sign (like +20260406) so Mighty sees it as a new account while messages still land in your normal inbox. Finally, I explain why selling inside the app is tricky—especially with iOS approvals, Apple’s cut, and the fact that Android can’t purchase in-app the same way. My recommendation is to guide members to buy in the browser on their device, then they can use what they purchased in the app. I also share a practical tactic: use an article/lesson/page with a shortened link that opens directly in the mobile browser.
