In this video, I take you behind the scenes of a real success story: running a simple challenge (sometimes called a quest) inside a Mighty Networks community. I hosted it inside my Success Partners space, where I support Mighty Network hosts, and the challenge had two clear goals—improve member interaction and help each member get a tangible result they actually wanted. In this case, it was a three-week landing page refresh, and it exceeded my expectations on both results and engagement. I break down exactly how I structured it in Mighty Networks: I posted two steps each week as articles in the activity feed, scheduled three weekly group calls using event posts, and added weekly polls to check in on how people were feeling. To keep everything easy to follow, I used a featured list to organize each week’s content, set the discovery page to highlight that featured list, and kept a checklist post featured so members could track what happened and what to do next. The most important part, though, is what happened during and after. Member momentum continued for weeks, and Mighty Insights showed contributions (cheers and comments) not only spiking during the challenge, but growing month over month afterward. That’s the power of a shared goal and a cadence of encounters—exactly the kind of structure that builds relationships and long-term engagement.
