Circle

I tested Circle by rebuilding a version of my Mighty Network so I could feel the real member experience. Circle has the core building blocks—Spaces, feeds, events, chat, and courses—but the single-function Space setup forces a lot of extra navigation, especially on mobile. I see it working best when your community is truly small in scope, like one course and one main community area.

Pros

  • +Includes key community features like feeds, events, chat, and member lists
  • +Space Groups help organize Spaces in the navigation
  • +Can work well for a simple, small community setup

Cons

  • -Each Space can only have one feature, which creates extra clicking and back-and-forth
  • -Navigation bar can get crowded fast as you add more experiences
  • -Professional plan limits admins, moderators, and number of Spaces

What Chadly Creative Consulting says

- Mighty Networks or Circle, which is best for you
I wanted to take a look at Circle and do a review video
The Circle plan that I'm using is the Professional plan
One important difference I want to point out between the Mighty Networks Business plan and the Circle Professional plan is that in the Circle Professional plan, you're limited to three admins, 10 moderators, and 20 spaces
Before I take you into a Mighty Networks and a Circle and show you what a course and a community look like in both places, let's talk about the building blocks that we're going to use
