About This Video

In this Sunday Reset, I’m taking you along for the real-life things that help me start the week feeling more steady—food prep, laundry, a little home refresh, and some planning time. I share a quick Aldi haul, then walk you through how I’ve tweaked my meal planning to stretch our money: instead of assigning meals to specific days, I’m making a list of meal ideas and not making the next meal until the leftovers are gone. It’s not always our favorite (fresh dinner every night is nice!), but I’m not willing to throw food away, and this has helped so much. After some simple prep (spaghetti sauce that doubles as pizza sauce, baking chicken to shred for chicken salad, and thawing sausage for later), I tackle what matters most in my house: laundry and meals. I’m in a season where I’m on the struggle bus with routines, and I share that sometimes the “bare minimum” really is okay. Then I clean out and decorate my dining room china hutch for Easter—Target finds, a blue-and-white color moment, and a simple table centerpiece. I also sit down with my planners to map out the week, add scheduled laundry loads, and share what’s working for me right now: a weekly overview plus a daily planner, and a separate notebook for weekly work/personal brain dumps. It’s cozy, practical, and faith-filled planning for everyday life.
