I'm sharing my Spring Morning Routine with you today. I like to re-evaluate my routines each season to make sure they are still working or if there are somethings that need to be tweaked. I like to keep my daily routines simple and fast. About This Video

In this Spring Morning Routine video, I’m taking you along as I move through the simple, fast tasks that help my home feel reset for the day. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that routines need to be re-evaluated seasonally—and “seasonally” can mean calendar seasons, changing commitments, or the ages and activities of your kids. This is your reminder to make your routine work for the season you’re in, not the one you used to be in. I don’t like a lot of fluff in my routines—I want what’s necessary, productive, and quick. I start in my bedroom by making the bed (and today that included stripping the sheets for my first load of laundry). Then I do a quick bathroom wipe-down and a “swish and swipe” of the toilets—keeping it simple with Clorox wipes and changing out hand towels. After breakfast, I reset the kitchen by tidying, wiping counters (one of my favorite things ever), and checking my weekly menu to see if anything needs to come out of the freezer. I also start my robo vacuum to stay on top of dog hair, and I do a quick living room tidy—opening blinds, putting things away, and using my little “chomp chomp” roller on the couch. My biggest takeaway: keep your morning routine simple enough that you can actually do it most days.
