In this video, I’m walking you through Day Designer’s 2025–2026 Academic Collection, and I’m sharing the three main pieces I think most of us are deciding between: the Classic Daily Day Designer, the Weekly Day Designer, and a mini Day Designer Notes notebook. I’ve used Day Designer planners for years, so I’m showing you the covers I have (Alicia, Sea and Sky, and my personal favorite, Capri), what comes in the packaging, and a couple accessories they sent me—like the magnetic bookmarks and a gold pen loop. I flip through the front “prepwork” pages I love so much—self assessment, values/passions/strengths, goals and steps, and the ideal month/week grids—because this is where faith-filled planning and real-life home routines start to come together for me. Then I compare layouts: the Daily has a full page per weekday (weekends share), with the Top Three, time-block schedule (5am–9pm), and sections like dinner and dollars (two of my favorites). The Weekly is a simple Monday-start horizontal week, but it also has a surprising amount of extras in the back—undated daily pages, notes, expense tracking (I’m using it for groceries), gift lists, packing lists, and more—so you can really run your home from one planner.
