In this August Currently Inked, I’m doing something a little different: I pulled pens that I haven’t touched in 365 days or older and inked them up again. This is basically my way of shopping my own stash—giving forgotten favorites a real chance to get back into rotation instead of just sitting pretty in storage. If you’ve ever looked at your pen case and realized you keep reaching for the same few pens, this is your sign to mix it up. I walk through what I’m using right now for the month, why I chose these “long-neglected” pens, and how this kind of challenge helps me actually enjoy what I already own. It’s also a good reminder that your taste changes—sometimes a pen you didn’t love last year suddenly feels perfect now.
