AIY Voice Kit Hack — Record Your Own Game Night Timer Audio

🎮 Slow game nights? Not anymore! Hi everyone, I’m Caroline, and I’m on a mission to end slow game nights. In my last video, I hacked the Google AIY Voice Kit v1 into a Game Night Timer—but this time, I’m taking it a step further. When I saw that tiny microphone in the kit, I thought, “Why not record my own game timer announcements?” In this episode, I’ll show you how to hack your AIY Kit to record and play custom audio using a Raspberry Pi 3. You’ll learn how to: 🎤 Record your own countdowns and alerts using Audacity 🎧 Replace default tones with your custom .wav files 🧠 Configure your kit to auto-start your Game Night Timer with your new sounds And if you don’t have one of these discontinued kits—good news!
