24 Hours After My Gum Graft… Why Is My Face So Swollen? 😭

24 hour update after my gum graft surgery in Ecuador. When the numbing wore off the pain was intense for about an hour… but after staying on top of meds and getting some sleep, I woke up with almost no pain — just a face so swollen I look like I lost a fight. My family is laughing, I’m icing nonstop, and now we wait to see if the swelling goes down. Also attempting a 72-hour fast to help healing and keep everything clean… we’ll see if that was a genius idea or a terrible one.
