Bring the engine to operating temperature and let it cool for 20 minutes. 2. Park your car on a flat surface and open the hood. 3. If necessary, raise the vehicle using vehicle ramps. 4. Remove the underbody panel covering the oil filter and drain plug. 5. Place plastic sheeting under the drain pan to catch any oil drips. 6. Place a drain pan underneath the oil pan and filter. 7. Using a 17mm socket, remove the oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain for 15 minutes. 8. Remove the oil filter cap using a 27mm socket: 9. Replace the oil filter, oil filter cap o-ring, and oil drain plug crush washer with new ones. 10. Reinstall the oil filter and oil filter cap. Torque it to 18 ft-lbs (25nm). 11. Reinstall the oil drain plug and crush washer. Torque it to 25 ft-lbs (35nm). 12. Add 6.5 quarts of new engine oil and make sure there aren't any oil leaks. 13. Reinstall the underbody panel. 14. Lower the car to the ground. 15. Measure the oil level using the dipstick and top off the oil as necessary. 16. Reset the service indicator via the infotainment system. 17. Recycle the old engine oil.
