This Changes RC Crawler Weighting - Pro-Line Rock-Tek

Pro-Line just introduced something that’s honestly pretty different from anything we’ve seen before in the crawler space. It’s called Rock-Tek, and instead of adding weight to your axles, wheels, or chassis, it rethinks where and how that weight is actually used. The idea is simple, but the execution is what makes it interesting. Rock-Tek places the weight at bottom-dead-center inside the tire, which lowers the center of gravity more efficiently than traditional setups. On top of that, the system is designed to reduce rotating mass, meaning less strain on your drivetrain compared to fully rotating brass weight systems. In this video, I break down how the Rock-Tek system works, go through the install, and then get it out on the rocks to see if it actually makes a difference where it matters. I also test how the magnetic bottom-dead-center system behaves, and how it compares to running it in free-spin mode.
