Thorncliffe Park apartment fire reignites concerns | CTV News Toronto Noon May 5, 2026

A new fire has started burning through the apartment after crews were doing remedial work. Beth Macdonell reports from the scene. 153 kg of cocaine, 10 kg of heroin, half a kilo of ketamine, $1.6M in cash, and an illegal gun were seized during this 18-month long investigation. The Ontario Superior Court found Becky Hamber and Brandy Cooney guilty on all counts they faced. Jon Woodward reports from Milton.
