Synology SHR Drive Upgrade Times

By far the fastest way to upgrade your Synology NAS if using SHR, if you are doing all the drives at once, is to copy the data off and make a new array, then copy it back on. Individual drive upgrade times are measured in the DAYS. Going from five 4TB to five 10TB discs takes around 10 days to complete. It does work as promised though, with the system up and running the whole time.
