Epic Fail? My Attempt at Gouache on a Black Background

Hi! I’m Cindy and I’m a colon cancer survivor who began my journey last March to be an artist at 61. Through my YouTube channel I will be creating a visual journal of my progress in my newfound passion- art. After discovering a watercolor set while recovering from surgery last March, I've became a prolific watercolorist and mixed media. This is my first attempt at using gouache and working on a black background. I bought Marie's gouache set from Temu and wanted to try them out. I also had a black sketchpad so I decided to combine both. Epic fail?
