A new program with the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society has some of the adoptable dogs going out on a day pass, with the help from volunteers. It’s all in an effort to not only get the dogs socialized, but to also increase their chances of getting adopted. It’s a day out on the town in Niagara Falls for several four-legged friends. “It’s good socializing for the dogs, so even if it doesn’t amount to an adoption, it amounts to a socializing experience for them,” said Tammy Gaboury, Animal Care Manager at Niagara SPCA & Humane Society, “and it’s also a stress reducer for the dogs.”
