“all right testing hello hello nice so we have the qk80 now we I did a video on the qk75 that did really well and a lot of people liked it well they wanted to know when the 80 was going to come out and here you go this is this is it I know this layout would probably benefit a lot more other people because they like it more and they can't live without certain keys I'm not like that but I understand the appeal plus I mean this layout just looks better in general this thing is supposed to be like entry level but I don't even know what expensive boards are anymore if this is considered entry level 160 starting out like and it's this good like just just listen to the space bar that's no nothing special just Lube the stabilizer they sent with it dude I feel like an adult when I have this thing like just the color I don't know getting real hard to look at what is like entry level for the price and then also what you're getting is just better it's the same thing you would get if you spent a lot of money on something it's just now it's not so expensive and it's pretty good dude I'm pretty impressed with how this is all right so I had a better way of recording this but the audio was like almost unusable and it was disgusting so we're just gonna do a little voice over yes dude I [ __ ] love it when it messes up anyways as you can see here we have three different types of plates we have the aluminum one a polycarbonate one which I'm not sure if it's actually polycarbonate I'm just gonna go with that we have the fr4 so for the aluminum one it's pretty nice it's solid black it's better than just like the normal silver option just it being a different color makes it way better then we have the polycarbonate one looks pretty generic and yeah it's it's there in the fr4 one which does look pretty nice as always it usually he has the little gold accents all the way around it for the holes and especially if it has Flex Cuts Like You see here now looking at our PCB it looks pretty good you got the little logo on the right hand side with the also included Flex cuts that you see but before we keep building we have to do the stabilizers and yay we love lubing our stabs which they actually did turn out pretty good every time I get any stats from 40 Keys they're always amazing so I have no problem with them sending more so I can use them because they're always amazing like I said now that we have the lubing of the switches out the way go ahead and further the build I lubed in with cry talks to a five grade Zero from Canon Keys which I have a link down below if you want to go check them out now we can go ahead and put on our gaskets now they included two different weights here they have one that is really stiff which is the black one and then the cream ones which are super light now these are the same ones from the qk75 and the qk60 and I love those they give just enough bounce but also good sound profile and that's really what they're there for but anyways they're really good and I like to see different weights here the black one I don't know exactly how like heavy it is but they're really stiff I actually had an idea it would be cool to like mix and match some like maybe on the side to put the black ones and then everywhere else put just the cream ones so it could be maybe a cool sound I don't know I'll probably do a short on that maybe I don't know just I didn't do it here I just went with the cream ones here next I put in the little pour on pad piece that I actually had to cut and be a little bit artistic here I did have to cut around all the stab areas because I did forget to put this on before screwing in the stabs so I'm lazy and didn't want to have to redo it so yeah I cut them all out and look how pretty it looks I put on the other piece of foam in between because we're going for Thought here we're going from muted Dock and for the plate I went ahead and used the fr4 one because it's my favorite and yep there's my head sticking in the camera good job Austin now moving along to our switches that we already popped in we're using some wuche studio switches I'm pretty sure this is like the crystal clear ones or whatever they have a really good sound profile so I went and used them went ahead and popped those in now we can go ahead and finish the build so we're gonna connect the little daughter board so that it can like work and everything well first we're gonna put in the piece of foam at the bottom because once again we're going from muted dark so we needed as much foam as we can get now we can put our PCB and switch and plate and everything onto the board and put the top part back on and then screw it all in and I just want to take this moment to look at it dude this thing looks so good now this is the brown option it honestly looks a little bit more maroon-ish still a little bit more towards brown but it I think it's a really nice color plus that weight on the back and by the way did you know that the weight on the back is magnet it's a magnet here's the footage of me finding that out so actually taking a look at these These are so sick the little badge Parts like you have like a little fancy one kind of you know circuit board one which is it's like a PCB looks really sick has some gears look at that man that is so sick like with this color board with the gold I feel like like this one which would be the best fit you know like imagine if it's right here oh dude it's [ __ ] magnetic dude that's sick oh my God dude that's so sick oh my God I would have to go I would have took apart the whole board just to do this because I thought it had screws in it it's magnetic oh dude that's so sick chose the keycaps these ones I picked you saw them earlier but I did this because I I don't know just the color of the case being this maroon brownish color I think it just gives it a vintage look and all around completes it in my opinion once again I feel like an adult it's like I needed to fix my ways of being a kid like I can't be a kid with this board but Jokes Aside it genuinely is a amazing board these are just for much Studios amazing I mean I've used so many other anything special they are so consistent so good that was the build I think it turned out amazing I think it really did turn out really good and just really happy that keyboards are now starting to be
