“[Music] thank you [Music] oh okay all right what's going on guys my name is GG build and welcome back to another video today we are going to be looking at my setup I did change it so it really just changed locations like I'm still in the same house but if you don't remember I was in the living room which had a lot of space but there's a couple things why I had to change and I think it made for a better environment we'll say I'm pretty happy with how it turned out the two main reasons why I moved from such a big space and had all this room and all that stuff to a smaller confined space is the ceiling and me not being able to control my environment in the background if you look at the living room ceilings they're pretty tall and they make all audio unbearable like the amount of hours I've put in to trying to make a piece of audio a little bit listenable can't do it anymore so now I can control it way better and I've already tested a lot and it's so much easier dude hello hello my name is Austin how are you I look really Orange right now probably need to change the anyways now let's go in here real quick hello oh my God what hello hello I can tell the difference and I know in the editing I will be so let me know if you hear the difference I think this is so much better so that is probably the biggest reason another reason is because I want to start streaming more in that living room space without have a camera out I can't control what's going on behind me don't just live by myself so I can't you know what I mean like it's a lot to control it more now I have my own bedroom I think the benefits outweigh the the negative of not having a lot of space so yeah I'm really excited to show this off to you man I think it just looks sick let's see what you think do bear with me because I'm not the best at remembering stuff and talking on the go because I didn't make a script for this I was just kind of going and yeah so sorry if I don't remember everything but uh yeah everything will be in the description or I'll try to put everything there that I can do you have any questions or different things that I didn't mention in here leave it down in the comments and I'll try to get the answering let's go ahead and look at our setup all right so this is my desk and my cats one this is Bella she's in the chair looks pretty cute you got Missy over there and then you have my dog back it's kind of dark over there anyways so this is the setup we have my main desk right here as soon as you walk in the door's right here as soon as you walk in you have my main desk over here you have two monitors plus that one up there this thing is pretty cool but we'll get to that in a minute this is where all the filming happened so by the way there is a more close-up on Missy you're so cute yes I know it's a cute kitten so this is a desk that I stained myself dark walnut and then I put a satin finish on it so it wouldn't glare too much like it's still glared because I mean there's a giant light right above it underneath it it's just an IKEA stand just something simple so I don't have to worry about it too much over here is where all the stuff is I have a lot of keyboard stuff here's the zoom 65 the custom one I made which looks pretty cool I have my switch container box thing I get a lot of questions about this I got The Container Store I mean it's kind of overpriced not gonna lie but it looks cool now I could have cleaned this off beforehand but I thought it would be more natural to show it how like I do recording and right now I'm working on these are the same board but I've been working on these for making a video and it's still here I'm not done with it yet so I thought this is how it looks like normally so I thought I would not change it but nothing too crazy you have all my tools it usually doesn't look like that but I did once again I just moved haven't got a time to organize a lot of things but is what it is back there I have my router so I can Cat6 cable it over and be perfect have really great Wi-Fi now have my speakers which the ones over here the other ones behind the other monitor you have my other lights that when I turn it on it's gonna be really bright and I don't know why yep and it makes it more full for now we don't need that got my CG build logo thing looks pretty cool I genuinely love this thing like I want to do more with the art there's a couple mismatches there that I need to fix but it's not done yet I just think it's cool that I have everything set up and then over here you can't really see tripod you have this thing that I just got thank you Mom she got me this for my Christmas present it's a uh slider so that you put your camera on and it goes super slow it takes out all the human interaction with the slider and it just kind of does it itself like it sits like this it's kind of heavy and then it slides yep okay time to put that back then over here I have all my mouse pads a lot of them on the line it's not all of them these are the ones I kind of record with and just kind of swap in and out through there as for my light this is the godox sl100d it's at with the light box to make it really look good I have an Amazon pole that I spent like 100 on it's pretty pretty sturdy but yeah that's how I make all my videos usually I have it like more top down like here but just for lighting the rest of the room so that you can see I have it like that moving on to my desk so we have my PC which hasn't really changed still the same specs besides Ram I did upgrade it to uh 64 gigabyte we'll talk about in a minute we have one monitor here and Ultra wide here and then my other monitor here that used to be my main one the whole point of me mounting it like this was I wanted to display the stats of this I haven't got around to actually making the graphic Ford or installing one or whatever so I want to have my own graphic there just for the PC which I think that would be super sick to have let's Mount that with this little Mount right here for like normally like a TV but yeah then I have it color matching uh the wall so all the wires cannot be shown there's not a single wire showing not even underneath pretty good took a while to get like that but one day you can be as grown up as I am as for the whole table this is a very old desk that I stained and it's not as good as I did this one as you can tell I don't know this one doesn't look as good just because it looks more smeary I wasn't as patient as I was with this one but still turned out pretty good you have the Ikea drawers that I've had for a long time and I have a little bit of a riser which honestly it's just a keyboard box from the same box on each one of them which that was pretty funny as for these speakers these are the Pioneer DJ monitors whatever and yeah I love them they sound so good haven't complained at all but the other one's right there it's kind of dark to see but yeah pretty good as for my peripherals and the mouse pad now I've had this mouse pad for so long be honest might be time for me to upgrade but it still looks pretty good there are a few snags here and there but hey nothing nothing that I can't Overlook you know but this mouse pad is not actually in stock anymore I don't know where to find it I'm not gonna lie I don't think I could survive without it but for my keyboard I've been using I've been using recently the qk 60 just because I don't know I I like how small it is for the longest time I was using the the zoom TKO and the qk75 but just as of recently I've kind of swapped to this one and I don't know I just like how small it looks for my mouse we are using the Logitech uh what is it called the g703 I was using the super light I've used I've used a lot of Mouse Okay went from glorious I just I wanted a heavier Mouse you know and this one is perfect for me I use a thousand DPI on usually in-game sense is like 0”
