Mini RC Crawling & Golf COLLIDE! The CCxRC 100k Sub Crawler Cup Invitational - Front 9 TEASER

The Crawler Cup Invitational has been in the back of my mind for a couple years now. The idea first hit me late one night at the Great Lakes Gauntlet while I was narrating some after-hours mini course runs. Since then, it’s been something a small group of us have talked through, tweaked, and shaped into what you’re seeing here. At its core, this was all about making something fun and different for video content around comps. The group of drivers invited are the ones who helped shape the idea along the way. Pairing it with hitting 100K subs just felt like the right time to go all-in and make it happen. The format plays a lot like mini golf. Multiple drivers run the same hole together, and each hole is its own “turn.” Everyone completes the hole before moving on to the next. Each hole is assigned a Par based on what we think is a fair score for the difficulty. While the goal is still the lowest overall score, using a Par system lets us track performance relative to each hole—especially helpful when groups are starting on different holes for filming. Scoring / Penalties: • Hand of God – 5 • Gate – 4 • Boundary – 3 • Winch – 2 • Reverse – 1 We removed rollover penalties since they naturally add strokes through recoveries, boundaries, or resets. “Hand of God” is used when a driver can’t continue forward or chooses not to attempt a full recovery. Hopefully that all makes sense as you watch it play out. This one was a blast to put together.
