President Obama closes presidential center opening speech with call to keep fighting for America

At the end of his address at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, President Barack Obama related the story of Rev. Theodore Parker, an abolitionist whose writings would later be famously paraphrased and quoted by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." In doing so, Obama called on Americans not to give into fear, despair and division, and instead keep fighting for the country's future and for democracy.
