Oknife AION. Be aware: this new knife has one major flaw. And it’s not a prototype issue.

This review is not an endorsement of Oknife AION. The hardness of the blade of this example was significantly below advertised. I thought it was a prototype issue but here’s email quote directly from Oknife: “…the one you got is a full production knife, not just a pre-pro sample. The knife features a unique design, closely resembling the Arkfeld Ultra flashlight, and includes ergonomic enhancements like double beveled handle spines aimed at reducing hand strain during use. However, I discovered a significant flaw with its blade hardness, which measured lower than expected during testing. This raises questions about its overall quality and performance. As the AION is gearing up for a Kickstarter launch, I discuss whether these concerns could be addressed in future production models. This review highlights the balance between innovative design and potential manufacturing issues that consumers should consider.
