Since June 1, 2025, anyone over 65 can get a shingles vaccine for free in Newfoundland and Labrador — something that was further extended to those over 50 on Sept. 1. According to one pharmacy manager in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, more and more people have come through the doors since to get the shot.
