You Might Not Need a Big, Expensive Adventure Bike

Big, expensive, top-heavy adventure motorcycles are all the rage, but do most of us really need them? I recently traded my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro for a new Moto Guzzi V85 TT, and it made me realize how much I was missing by having too much bike. Sure, on paper the two bike share some specs. They’re roughly the same weight, and about the same engine size. But the Tiger felt twice as big, three times more complicated, and not nearly as pure of a riding experience.
