One Component That Could Doom Modern Motorcycles

Modern motorcycles are engineering marvels, but will they one day be cherished in the same way as a classic BMW airhead? Will the technology that looks fantastic on modern motorcycles today doom these same bikes 20 years from now? Both of my motorcycles – the Triumph Trident 660 and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – have modern, if not very different, dashboard displays. My Triumph Bonneville T120 had elegant, timeless twin analog clocks. While I like all of them, I’m pretty sure which of the three will still look fantastic, and continue to function, well into the future.
