8,000 Miles Solo on a Moto Guzzi V85TT: The Gear, The Bike, The Plan

I’m leaving in less than three weeks for my cross-country motorcycle adventure! I’ll be riding my 2023 Moto Guzzi V85TT across America from Portland, Oregon to Cape Cod, Massachusetts starting June 5 2025. Once I get to the Cape, I’ll turn around and ride back to Oregon on a different, longer and as-of-yet undecided route. The longest adventure motorcycle trip I’ve been on was about 2000 miles over eight days, so this will be a challenge for sure.
