SmartThings Tutorial - How to Setup the Ring Outdoor Sensor in the SmartThings App

CUSTOM EDGE DRIVER INFORMATION: If you install this Ring Alarm Motion or Contact sensor on your SmartThings or Aeotec hub via the SmartThings app and you did not download the 'Custom Device Driver', then the app will install the sensor with the stock ST Beta driver 'Z-Wave Sensor'. You can verify this by tapping on the device , tap on the three dots in the upper right, tap on 'Driver' to see the installed driver. To install the Custom Device Driver "Z-Wave Sensor Ring" you must download the custom driver from the Milan Edge Driver Invitation. The custom drivers enable more features than the stock drivers. After you download the Custom Edge Driver to your hub you must assign it you your Ring Alarm device. To do this go to the device screen settings, select the driver screen and tap on the option to 'Select different driver'. You will now find the driver "Z-Wave Sensor Ring" in the driver list. Tap on the driver and tap on 'Use this driver' to update you Ring Alarm sensor.
