SmartThings Moisture Sensor Automation 💧 With Amazon Echo Alerts!

When SmartThings transitioned to the new SmartThings App, they announced that the Echo Speaks Smart App would no longer be supported. With the elimination of Echo Speaks, I needed to abandon many of the cool automations that I created on this channel. One of those automations was a routine that used my Amazon Echo device to announce water leaks upon the detection of moisture. Today I will demonstrate how I was able to recreate the SmartThings Moisture Sensor Automation. This automation uses my SmartThings water leak sensor and my Amazon Echo to notify me when moisture is detected at my sump pump.
