Trent River Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Catfish Fishing (2019)

Trent River Fishing (2019) This is a compilation of our fishing trips in the Trent River system. Trent River (Ontario) fishing offers a variety of fish species including Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Yellow Perch, Catfish, Carp, Gar, Walleye, Northern Pike, and Muskellunge. You can find them on Trent River locks spread out within the system. On one of the fishing trips, we stayed at a local fishing lodge called Percy Boom Haven for a couple days. This is highly recommended to increase the chances of catching good quality fish. The owners and operators are great, friendly, and very welcoming. We tried both spin fishing and fly fishing on all our trips. Jerk baits, spinners, and plastic worms were the top performers on the spin setup. The fly called "Pike Bunny" got me my first Northern Pike on the Fly, as well as my first catfish on the fly (if that's even a thing).
