Fly Fishing Brown Trout This day we went Fly Fishing for Steelhead but ended up catching Big Brown Trout! Both brown trout and steelhead (migratory rainbow trout) runs almost at the same time, right after the fall Salmon run. The best fishing days are not always those blue skies and clear water days. It was cloudy, cold, and rainy kind of day, but we were lucky enough to connect with these beautiful fish in this creek. This also is my first time using an indicator nymph setup. Took a few tries to learn how to cast the rig properly, but so far its been productive. Setup Used: 9ft 5-6 wt fly rod with floating line and an indicator going down to a 5x tippet, then a two nymph setup If you like what you see, please hit Like and Subscribe to our channel.
