Cycle Lanes Are Causing Chaos – Here’s Why

Is infrastructure design setting us all up to fail? In today’s video, we’re taking a close look at Kingsbury High Road and a growing trend across London and the UK: pavement-level cycle lanes. On paper, they’re meant to keep cyclists safe. In reality, they’re creating a "no-man's-land" where pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers are left guessing who has priority. I’ve watched the near-misses and the arguments unfold in real-time, and it’s time we asked the difficult question: Is it the people using the space that are the problem, or the design itself? In this video, we explore: The Design Flaw: Why "halfway house" infrastructure creates visual confusion for everyone.
