What’s up everybody—Mike & Brian here. In this video I’m giving you a first look at the 2026 Toyota Corolla FX in Blue Crush Metallic, and yeah… the first thing you notice are those white wheels. They look awesome on this color and they really pop. The FX is basically an appearance package for the Corolla Hatchback, kind of like a “baby GR Corolla” vibe with a more aggressive front bumper, gloss black trim, blacked-out badging, and a big wing up top. It’s still the standard Corolla setup under the hood: a naturally aspirated 2.0L inline-4 making 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft, paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive, with an MSRP just over $29,000. I also walk you through the hatch space (over 17 cubic feet), the spare tire, and how usable it is as a daily—bikes, boards, golf bags, you name it. Inside, you get that GR-style look with bucket seats and micro suede, plus paddle shifters to add a little fun factor even though it’s still a CVT. On the road it feels zippy around town, comfortable, easy to see out of, and simple to use—just don’t expect GR performance. Overall, it’s a solid A-to-B economy car with a fun flare, and honestly I think a manual would make the FX that much cooler.
