“hello everyone and welcome back to my channel for those of you who don't know me i'm britta hi welcome um for today's video i'm gonna be doing a bay leaf fitness activewear apparel review and try on um i love this brand it is a sustainable brand they use a lot of recycled materials to make their products um to try to help the planet if you do like this video please like and subscribe to my channel and hit the bell notification so you never miss a video with me otherwise let's get into the review so the first item that i'm going to review are these basic black leggings the first thing i did notice when i pulled these out is that the material is very nice um a lot of times i think with like smaller brands stuff they skimp on the material this feels super high quality um and honestly it's very buttery it's very stretchy and it feels like there's a compressive nature to it um this does have pockets which is great um the there is like a front seam and a back seam so sometimes those for a lot of us ladies gives us puts this kind of at risk for camel toe so curious to see how these are on i have not tried them so um when i do try them on that will be my first impression for you all there is like a little key pouch back here in the back um and then there is like this little logo and that is just presta it's not like sewn in or anything so um but it is cute it's just like a little a little leaf if you can see um but yeah overall these look really good i did get these in a size medium generally when i first try a brand i try to get i'm like between sizes right now so sometimes it's really difficult to know what the right size is so i did get these in a size medium so we will see how that fits the next thing i'm going to show you are the bigger shorts these are are um seamless in the front which is great i wish that every brand would be seamless in the front because it does help much so once again these have the side pads for your phone there is no um little key pocket in the back this time but it is on the front hip right here so you can just slide a little key in there um once again these they have a little call these are made from recycled nylons once again we got to load the sustainability of brands using recycled materials so yeah i'm curious to see how long these are these do look a little longer than what i have been wearing more recently but we love a good biker short and the material once again it is very buttery it has like a compressive nature but still feels like quite stretchy so i'm really excited to see how these feel on and then once again we have a little logo right in the back and the last thing i got are kind of these like lounge shorts and literally y'all the minute i pulled these out of the bag i was like that is nice these are so freaking soft like way softer than i ever thought that they that they would be so these are also in a size medium they have a drawstring waistband little little bay leaf logo on the back yeah these just like i am so excited for these i feel like these are just going to be really cute like loungy probably won't wear these to the gym i mean i think you could but i will probably just like wear these around the house work from home and they do have pockets which is great um the material is very very stretchy a pocket material is like very stretchy and flexible so anyway that is the shorts so those are the three items that i got and yeah these like when i say these are so soft like i feel like i'm just like they're so so freaking soft so i'm excited to try these on for you so yeah let's get into the try on and then i will give my opinions of how they fit how they feel on etcetera i'm very excited so let's get into it all right first up we have the long black leggings this material honestly is so nice like it is so buttery it is so soft it is compressive but like stretchy so there is like give like it's nice the only thing my only only critique would be the waistband isn't super compressive i'm sure if you are not if you're not built like me and you have a little less of a tiny waist like my waist is so tiny compared to my hips that it is really hard to find things that will fit me like perfectly these do a pretty good job i just wish that the top was like slightly more compressive to give me that like you know cinched in look but otherwise these feel great i mean once it like as i said this material is so buttery and so soft uh it's just yeah it's really nice and then once again we have the pockets which are great you have the key holder whatever pouch in the back but yeah so that is the leggings [Music] next up we have the biker shorts these are a little longer than what i usually wear and they are pretty tight around the bottom so these are not going to be easily like hiked up i do love that it is seamless in the front so you don't get that camel toe um the material is really nice it is very stretchy you have a lot of give like similarly to the leggings i wish that the top panel would be just slightly more compressive um but that is my only critique this material in general is just you know as i said with those fabulous i love it um yeah so these are a good biker length they are they're not like all the way to the knee which i love this kind of mid-length um i just don't like when it goes like all the way down so this kind of like mid length is still a nice length because you get just a little bit of leg um but yeah these are not going to be like able to be kind of like hyped up like i have done with like my alpha lead leggings and other shorts so that is the microscopes and then we have the lounge shorts and y'all these they're these are like the most comfortable shorts i have ever put on my body they are so soft they fit so well like they're like i mean guys they're so stretchy like um and then i love the drawstring i can cinch it in we know that i struggle when shorts are made for my hips and not my waist so these i can cinch in the waist but yeah i mean i feel like i could just like literally just like rub these all day long these are fabulous um so we'll definitely be getting more of the shorts well
