The naturally aspirated 2.5-liter engine produces 186 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque paired with a six speed automatic, slow by modern standards but perfectly linear and honest. Compared to the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Hyundai Tucson, the CX-30 sacrifices power and space for driving engagement. It's the only compact crossover with legitimate sports car steering calibration and chassis balance. Pricing starts at $25,975 for the base 2.5 S.
