Yarbo is one of the most futuristic yard gadgets I’ve tested—basically a mini tank that can mow fast, handle hills, and keep going on bigger properties. Once I got the RTK setup dialed in and the zones mapped, it saved me a ton of mowing time, and the broader “year-round robot” idea (like adding a snow module) is genuinely compelling.
Pros
+Very capable on large yards with multiple zones and long run times
+Tracks handle hills, rough terrain, and wet ground better than many wheeled robots
+Straightforward zone mapping by driving it and adding waypoints
+Optional 4G keeps it connected for alerts and remote camera access
Cons
-More complex setup than typical robot mowers
-RTK requires Ethernet, which may mean running and protecting a cable
-GPS can struggle in tight side yards between close houses
-Large size can be awkward around tight obstacles and has limited spatial awareness when backing up
