This car came about during a time when I had to get rid of my 2014 Subaru STI for insurance-related issues and as part of this painful process of letting that dream car go, I needed a quick cheap alternative to get me from A to B. I found this Civic on Craigslist for $2,500 and was able to get it for $2,000 and has been super reliable ever since then, even now that my dad is the one that drives it around and whatnot. The car has the 1.6 litter single cam engine married to a 5-speed transmission, nothing to be crazy about what so ever, as a matter of fact, this is perhaps the slowest car I ever owned (even the 1994 Toyota Corolla I had as my very first car had a 1.8 L engine and was much faster than this). I bought the car as a little possible project where I could swap a K20 engine into perhaps even boost it later on and should all be very cheap to do. However, life took me in a different turn and found the truck to be more useful for my daily life so I convince my dad somehow, (I still do not believe how I was able to pull that off) to trade me the truck for the Honda.
