Making the Sub: - Tear out a little space for the meatballs from the top bun - Lightly toast and then melt vegan cheese on top of the bottom bun (can also be done on top of the meatballs) - Simmer the meatballs in sauce until they stick to the balls - Add your sauced meatballs, add some sauce to the top bun - Add some basil and/or chopped pickled peppers, and enjoy.
