This ROG (republic of Gaming) motherboard hadles Intel's 6th generation CPUs running on the latest Z170 platform. Featuring a socket LGA 1151. The motherboard comes with a lot of quality components such as MicroFine Alloy chokes and NexFET MOSFETs. It features an M.2 Socket 3 (PCIE x4 and SATA modes), eight SATA 3 ports (4 can be used as SATA Express ports). The back pannel provides USB 3.1 type-C and type-A port and 6 USB 3.0 ports. The onboard NIC is an Intel Gigabit i-219v which reduces CPU overhead. Overclocking is simple via the BIOS interface.
