Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25 Update: Adding Snails, Crabs, and Copepods & DIY Tank Lid This week's video is about the Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25. This tank has recently finished cycling - Copepods have been thriving in this tank and algae has started to bloom. So, I've added some hermit crabs and snails as the first members of the clean-up crew. It is so exciting to witness how this tank is slowly coming to life. Moreover, I am also sharing how I make my own fish tank lid. I bought a magnetic fly screen to DIY my own lid - it is very simple to put together and inexpensive (less than $50 AUD). It does its job as a cover and lets light through adequately. On top of that, I love how clean the lid looks with the Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25. I also used the same lid for my Waterbox Cube 20 and have had no issues at all with it. I hope this can be helpful to anyone who is looking for a good, yet affordable tank lid.
