I’m calling it unfinished karma moving through the sūkṣma śarīra—the subtle body—where impressions, desire, and unresolved energetic contracts continue long after the physical relationship ends. I draw directly from the Katha Upanishad, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, and Mandukya Upanishad to show how attachment actually works in Vedic philosophy: it doesn’t dissolve through logic or time. It dissolves through karma completion, realization, and spiritual maturation—until the soul reaches equilibrium and closure.
