Episode 8 is dedicated to my day at the 2017 Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. After spending the past 3 years working on special projects surrounding this race, it was nice to be able to travel where I wanted, when I wanted and spectate/document without pressure to follow any one (or more) particular runner. Major props to the amazing women that battled in the intense heat and to Jim Walmsley for taking a swing at doing something potentially unprecedented and amazing. I know he will be back.
