On Saturday, August 24, 2013 me and 3 of my good friends embarked on a fun adventure where we would summit 3 of the tallest peaks in Southern California in a 24-hour period: Mount San Jacinto (10,834'), Mount San Gorgonio (11,503') & Mount Baldy (10,064'). It is commonly referred to as "The So Cal Triple Crown" or "8000 Meter Challenge". The total distance of the adventure totaled nearly 40 miles, climbing over 14,500' in total and we finished in about 18.5 hours after we started. A great, fun day in the mountains for sure! www.larunner.com © Billy Yang 2013
