I usually don't race with a camera. But I brought one along for this 50 mile race at altitude to treat it even more like a training run for the upcoming Leadville 100 mile race on August 19th. In short, try to enjoy this race and have a little fun in the process. However things took a turn for the worse when shortly after the halfway mark, legs wouldn't respond and I allowed myself to get really low and dejected. Thanks to some good people around me, I rallied back and was able to finish on a day when things got a little ugly. Much love to my running community!
