On December 1, 2013 my buddy David and I decided to forego the comforts of a beautiful and sunny 78-degree day in our hometown of Hermosa Beach, CA and take to the mountains. Specifically, hitting the summit of our favorite Southern California peak - Mount Baldy located 10,064 feet above sea level. The following is what I documented in the approximately 7 hours it took to make the roundtrip voyage from Hermosa Beach to the Mount Baldy trailhead and the subsequent ascent/descent in the glorious snow and wind up to the summit. We were able to make it back in time for lunch back at sea level. Another fantastic day in sunny LA. Music: Tinyfolk
