At the intersection of where intent meets action, I am both equally scared and excited to announce that my next 100 mile race will take me back to where it all started: the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run. After several years in the sport of ultrarunning, I finally decided to pull the trigger on my first 100 back in 2014 - a sublime day filled with excitement and tears as I crossed the finish line in 24 hours 00 minutes and 20 seconds, narrowly missing the coveted sub-24 hour silver buckle. So it goes. This year, I head back - not to try to rewrite history. No, merely to put forth a spring/summer of honest blood/sweat equity and toe the line come August 3, 2019 ready to do my best in the mountains. As I like to say: here goes everything. Excited for the journey!
