On June 25, 2016 - some of the finest athletes in ultrarunning assembled in Squaw Valley for one of the most competitive fields in history to make the 100 mile journey to Auburn. The athletes range from a former champion, a previous DNF WS runner to a first timer in both the WS and 100 mile experience. In comparing running 100 miles to living "Life in a Day" by the great Ann Trason, this film chronicles the stories and journey of 4 athletes both in life and running against one of the deepest fields in Western States history.
