On May 23, 2015 accomplished ultra runner Dave Mackey sustained a severe injury when a boulder weighing 300-400 lbs pinned his leg crushing his fibula/tibia. After an exhaustive rescue lasting several hours by the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, Dave was finally taken to the hospital where he faces multiple surgeries in the days ahead before he can begin the process of coming back to full health. After the initial shock, the ultra community rallied and wanted to let Dave know that we were behind him as he faces a long road back to recovery. Here are a few good folks that wanted to wish him well. Godspeed Dave Mackey. You're in our thoughts. http://davemackey.blogspot.com/
